The calculation for the cost of translations in the language industry overall is based on the number of words in a source text. Another factor is the language combination (some languages are priced differently than others due to the fact that they are more rare, more difficult or even due to the fact that there are not that many qualified, professional translators in a certain language combination). We are very quick when providing our quotations, simply contact us here, and provide us with your source text and we will be back in touch in no time with the exact cost and duration for your translation project.

How long it takes depends on the number of words in the source text and also the difficulty level of the content. A basic text is translated much faster than let’s say some highly medical or technical content. We are generally able to translate fast, also over night or over the weekend, if required, with our express service translation. We create an invoice for each project, which we will forward to you. All invoices of course fulfil the legal requirements for invoices. The payment of invoices can be done via bank transfer, credit card or PayPal indicating our invoice number.

At EHLION, we work internationally catering to clients from different countries. We also work in all the major time zones. For this reason, it does not make a difference from where you place your order.

Through our express translation service, we can also provide translations overnight or over the weekend if necessary. For very large projects, several translators can work on a translation in parallel, which means that delivery can be even faster.

No, translations are generally carried out by human translators, unless machine translation is explicitly ordered. EHLION is an ISO 17100, ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and ISO 14001 certified company. ISO 17100 stipulates clearly the criteria not only with regards to the translator, who has to be a professional in their field but also has to have in-depth translation experience in their respective field and or a degree in translation.

Yes, there are quite a few actually, despite the fact that we already offer 100 languages. These however are languages that are hardly ever required and where there are only a handful of ISO compliant translators world-wide. Should demand increase for these languages, we would surely include those into our portfolio. If you need assistance with a rare language, please do contact us regardless as we would most likely still be able to assist (at least we would do our best to try).
