Sustainability and CSR

EHLION | A firm belief in corporate social responsibility

EHLION is a company that believes in providing top-quality language services. When it comes to industry expertise, reliability and professionalism, our standards are extremely high. And that also applies to the ethical side of our business. We believe that every company has a wider responsibility to society and the environment. That’s why corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability are such integral parts of our corporate culture.

Treating people fairly

Our company offers services that affect the lives of numerous people worldwide, at least indirectly. And our business policies and corporate culture have a direct impact on the people who work for us, as well as on our customers and partners. We are committed to treating everyone we work with responsibly, fairly and respectfully.

We understand that much of our success as a business stems from the willingness of the people who work for us to go the extra mile. That’s why we strive to build fair partnerships with EHLION translators, interpreters, IT specialists and DTP experts. And that includes fair remuneration for the work they do.

Respecting nature and the environment

Our business practices are designed to keep any direct, harmful impact on the environment to an absolute minimum. The full-scale digitisation of our work environment has led to major benefits, one example of which is the virtual elimination of paper from the translation business. We endeavour to minimize our use of resources and promote eco-friendly practices in all areas of our business.

The EHLION Foundation: helping people to help themselves

As well as adhering to the principles described above, EHLION has also decided to provide assistance of a more direct kind. through the EHLION Foundation, which was established in 2013. It currently supports a variety of not-for-profit organisations and projects through donations, focusing primarily on helping people to help themselves. Examples include support for children’s education projects in countries where many children don’t have the opportunity to go to school and get an education.
